We are asking our able-bodied people to park in the WEST lot (where the big drive-through is) on Sunday Morning, as the EAST lot will temporarily have about 20 fewer parking spots. Let's reserve the EAST lot for those who have a little harder time getting around, and those with small children. ... See MoreSee Less
This Sunday is SHAKEDOWN SUNDAY where our children come forward for Children's Message, then are unleashed into the congregation to "shakedown" everybody for coins, checks, bills --- it's a FUN way to get our children involved in our State Mission Offering! ... See MoreSee Less
There will be a VERY BRIEF shutdown of power while the City transfers the high voltage lines to the new poles. This is not the expected 2-3 day shutdown that will happen within the next couple weeks. This should NOT affect our Wednesday Evening Service tonight. ... See MoreSee Less
The concrete is being cut for the trench, the digging is taking place for the conduit... we are getting a lot done! It's NOISY, but that's the sound of PROGRESS. ... See MoreSee Less
There are several conduits that kinda "meander" under the concrete, out into the yard (underground) and to the back of the building - in ADDITION to overhead lines that feed the far end of the building. This project will unify ALL electrical power into one path from the newly constructed disconnect rack to the back of the building, totally eliminating the overhead power line.
Prior to this, if the Fire Department (for example) had to respond, and needed to shut off power, they would only be shutting off PARTIAL power, as some of the disconnects were actually on the back of the building. Somebody could get hurt or killed, thinking the power was off.
With the new setup - ALL of the power can be shut off from that one new power disconnect rack at the meter pole.
Congratulations to those BROWN BOYS!!!
